Glenn R
Hi All, How about modelling a Turbo-Porter (I think it's actually the Fairchild version) with a sharkmouth! This was taken at Lop Buri, Thailand by me last March using my phone camera. There were four of them and they were there to do some air-to-ground firing with their three barreled rotary 20mm cannons. The cannon can just be seen poking out the side door. Regards, Glenn
rdxtnt
Looks a mean piece of kit doesn't it? Nice colour scheme. Remember seeing one of these take-off at an airshow once. It seemed to be off the ground within about 50 feet. Amazing!
eng
Everytime I see one of these all I can think of is that scene in "Air America" where the guy lands the Porter up the hillside on Mel Gibson's characters "check ride". Some of the flying in that film is brilliant, Robert Downey Jnr being dangled from a helo and flown across a monastray! Some of the one liners are priceless - a favourite of mine.
