Hi Tony, I did use a very thin (~1mm) masking tape to follow the compound curve (Is this what you meant?). However the main issue was that I don't think I got a good seal between the tape and the fuselage surface so had some bleed underneath. This was combined with some over enthusiastic spraying leading to some build up along the edges of the masking. Must take more care next time. Anyway had some time to get back into this one a little after many distractions in the first two thirds of the month. Managed to tidy up the paint job a little, still not great but not too bad if you look at it from a distance out the corner of your eye. Decals now on and currently waiting on the wash to dry. I will try to post some more pictures over the next day or two as I will hopefully have some tome to spend on it. Aiming to get it completed before going back to work on the 5th.
