spike7451
OK, Well I'm about to start a n other Tornado, this time a GR4.Sooo..... I hunted around & found this- Flightpath # 1 And this- Flightpath #2 Are they the same set? 'Cause the bottom one says it contains seat's but the top one say's it contains the parts to detail the kit seats or Aeroclub ones.... Plus the is a £5 odd diference in price! Goes to say that if the Hannant's one has seats & the the DJ P one does'nt then I'd rather get the Hannants one (which would explain the extra £5.00!) Mike
They're the same set chum... David prefers to sell direct, which might explain the price at Hannants. I always buy my Flightpath stuff direct, and I've never been disappointed. Mr Parkins is a nice accomodating chap if you remember that courtesy costs nothing It's a bit fiddly to order, either by fax, phone or email, but it's worth the effort, and the stuff arrives pretty quickly. His stuff it pricey, but you gets what you pays for HTH
spike7451
Cheers Mike,What's the quaility of his stuff like? and I'm looking for some dropped flaps & slat's but Hannant's say they are oos.
WolvoWill
Flightpath stuff is absolutely top notch in terms of detail, though experience and a fair deal of patience is a must as some of the photo etch stuff is very fiddly. Have not had a look at the big Tornado set, though I've seen loads of the WW2 sets, and have made up a fair few of the modern weapons (Paveways, CBLS, 1000lb FF, Pave Tack pod etc) and always found them worth the money. I too order direct from David Parkins rather than pay the premium from hannants - service is super fast every time!
