Puma jerrycans.

hi guys got two questions about the jerrycans on the Puma I'M building, whats the colour of em field grey or the hull colour dark yellow? & were they

fitted to the hull with leather straps or steel bands. while I'm at it on the right hand fender behind the second Jerry there's a container that looks to be either black or panzer grey....any ideas ?

the jerry cans where usually painted panzer yellow at that point in the war however there is no reason why you cannot have a panzer grey or green jerry can. infact you can have all three coloured jerry cans on the puma if you wish, especially as jerry cans where almost disposable. if they where being used to carry water they would have a white cross painted on both sides.

as for the fixing i think they where using leather straps. the box you talk about i would paint hull colour
