I wish to share with you all my current other build which I hope will be finished with my Vulcan for the IPMS Nationals in August. It's the 48th scale Airfix Jag, and when done should resemble the MK.3 of the 16 sq."Saints". I am doing the Paragon Mods, flaps, slats.burner cans,chaff dispensers,and cannon bulges. To that comes the Flightpath kit with Tanks and other goodies for the airframe. I fit the Neomega Jag Mk.1 cockpit, but made revisions to the dashboard by scraping off all the guages and screens and replacing them with more realistic PE ones including the square middle screen on the GR.3. I will also be adding the flightpath Tiald and ECM pod,2 LGB's and Paragon seat and boarding ladder set. I will be adding U/C and wheel well detail as well. The "BLACK" Intakes, Which are real nice and a direct replacement for the kit parts are from my friend Mike Reeves of two Mikes resin ( LOOK HIM UP AT TWOMIKESRESIN.COM), and were patterned by Brit modeller Mike Williams!!!I am currently using 2 PE sets. The Eduard Jag set and the rerelease Airwaves cockpit set which I need for the canopy parts. I will be doing the drab 2 tone grey with a black tail for #16 squadron "The Saints" The decals are from Model Alliance. Email me if you want to ask any questions about the build. P/S The nose Pitot was replaced with brass rod for a "Very Hard to Break nose piece!!!!! Thanks for looking, Big Bill.
