AnonymousA667
I doubt I'll make it over, but you never know. I'm buying the beers if you do mate. Surely an offer you can't refuse? peebeep
Brews
Man can live on beer alone, Paul. Monks have proved that. We'll see. Sometimes, there are flights that are cheaper than $500 return including taxes. Not since the airlines have been laying off staff, mind you. we can live in hope. Brews
I've done a little bit on this so far today, and I might continue after dinner, you never know. I added some 0.010 x 0.40 strip, cut to 0.010 x approx 0.020 to the rear of a couple of turret facets with superglue, and smoothed these out. They actually look ok, and didn't take long to do, so I'll finish the turret off in that manner. Still have all the little nubbins to add to the turret. Brews
Just a quick update. I started replacing the commander's periscope guard and MG mount with foil. The aerial on the offside will have to be moved to its proper place on a "stub wing" over the smoke dischargers. The cooling air intake is foil-covered now. I like that - it looks like I know what I'm doing. I don't, really.
Brews
... and as I just noticed that I have mounted the smoke dischargers on the off side too high, I have removed these. I'm at the "will this ever end?" stage
Brews
Camo attachment eyes added to two of the turret facets, and I've wound some wire around the cable reel hub. Edited August 4, 2008 by Brews
Brews
Not done anything since the 4th August, apparently, so I'll get cracking now.
Brews
Most of the detail changes are small ... and yes, you have to look hard to see the extended insides of the stowage bins, but these photos compare and contrast:
