Neil
Another oldie dredged up from the vault, don't think I have posted it here yet. The kit is based on the 1/72 Hasegawa F-15 with modified exhausts with 'feathers' taken from a Heller F-15 kit, seatbelts were added to the kit seat (made from masking tape) and the outboard control surfaces on the wings were cut with a saw and repositioned at a drooped angle. The Python 3 and Python 4 missiles are from Paragon, the camo colours are sprayed in Humbrol and the natural metal areas are in Alclad and the National Insignia white areas were also sprayed on, using masks, and the bark blue stars were cut from decal film. The script/writing on the nose was hand painted onto clear decal film then applied to the model, and the badges on the outer surfaces of the fins and the eagle heads on the inner surfaces of the fins were also hand painted, all panel lines were given a light 'wash' with Paynes Grey oil paint. All stencil markings are taken from the Hasegawa decal sheet and the Sparrow missiles are modified Heller items.
