Just had one of those days when you wished you'd never picked the damn thing up, if it could go wrong, then to-day it did, I even knocked over my bottle of MEK-PAK, fortunately the tank survived and was untouched by the glue, but it came very, very close to being hit by a very, very large hammer.

Well, things have gone a bit better to-day, but boy is this a slow build and it aint for the faint hearted, as I've said before you've got the detail of a 1/35 scale but in the size of a 1/72 scale model. I just hope it turns out OK.

Gun metal dry brush above black suits me well.

Hi Pete I go for a metallic black mate, using black with a pencil gently rubbed over it for that metallic look.

if you are making the tank of a version after 1942 paint them wood if before 1942 then metal black dry brushed with silver or a gunmetal colour
