T-Tango
Just had one of those days when you wished you'd never picked the damn thing up, if it could go wrong, then to-day it did, I even knocked over my bottle of MEK-PAK, fortunately the tank survived and was untouched by the glue, but it came very, very close to being hit by a very, very large hammer. T-Tango
Well, things have gone a bit better to-day, but boy is this a slow build and it aint for the faint hearted, as I've said before you've got the detail of a 1/35 scale but in the size of a 1/72 scale model. I just hope it turns out OK. Pete von Feelinghappiertoday

Antoine
Well, you're pushing far the need to know about details... Gun metal dry brush above black suits me well. Edited May 15, 2008 by Antoine
daz greenwood
Hi Pete I go for a metallic black mate, using black with a pencil gently rubbed over it for that metallic look. HTH Pete
T-Tango
Thanks guys, I appreciate that. Would the pistol grips be metal or wood? Edited May 16, 2008 by T-Tango
jacobasmith
if you are making the tank of a version after 1942 paint them wood if before 1942 then metal black dry brushed with silver or a gunmetal colour
