Jure Miljevic
Unfortunately, I am not certain about the fuselage camera. I took plenty of photos of the 10616, but that one had not been converted into a reconnaissance machine. Also, when in Surcin museum I did not bother with the underbelly camera and only took photos of those installed in the wingtip tanks. I am speculating that it probably protrudes slightly below the fuselage. I did, however, find a photo of 10571, along with another photo of similarly painted 10563, in YU-VAM magazine special edition Jets. Online one can view it here: https://dokumen.tips/documents/jets-mlazni-avioni-zapadnog-porekla-u-jugoslovenskom-naoruzanju-1953-1974.html The photos in question are on the page 27. Cheers Jure

This aircraft had standard tanks. Hi Diego, I was thinking of using the Hi-Decal sheet with 571 - but thought maybe I do it in NMF instead. Do you think 571 was repainted in camo while flew in NMF initially? Thanks for any insights! Dennis

Dennis Hi Dennis, Unfortunately I don't have seen any photos of 571 in NMF, but, as this camouflage was an unique, experimental one, applied AFAIK on two recce Thunderjets only - I am pretty sure that 571 previously flew in NMF with standard Yugoslav markings. However, as it's very possible that that this bird received the camo during the recce configuration upgrade, you could do 571 in NMF before the recce modification, i.e. as standard fighter-bomber 😊 Greetings Diego 1
