As the first airshow of the season (well, joint first with Duxford and Shuttleworth), it's well worth a trip out for and it's all for charity - the local Air Ambulance. More details here: http://www.abingdonfayre.com/ ...but basically expect 70+ fly-in visitors, static aircraft, several hours of flying display including the awesome DC-6, RAF Chinook (one of very few appearances this year), Gnat T.1, Hunter T.7, Tucano, P-40 Kittyhawk, Percival Pembroke, Steen Skybolt, Silence Twister, BBMF Spitfire, RN Lynx and the Swift Glider Display Team! Online ticket sales close THIS FRIDAY so be quick if you want to get them at the discounted advance rate of a measly 8 quid per adult and 4 quid for OAPs/kids (real young uns go free!).
