Fmk.6john Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 On reflection the 'wave' in one of the videos might have been the crews attempt at clearing the gear door snag. Generally they would try to 'G' load the door to kick start it into moving, hence the pass with the gear down, cycling the gear can also promt it into life. According to the TVOC website the snag was down to a faulty microswitch and is a quick fix, it reduced the flight time down to 40 mins but didn't cause any major problems. Ian Lanc Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 very good stuff there thanks for sharing them , one question ! theres a hell of alot of smoke coming out of the engines is this normal for this sort of engine ? maybe they replaced the rolls royce power plants with diesels i reckon the next people who have some thing to say about the smoke is these envoiromentalists idiots, saying...
