Gary West
Maybe I missed something, but whilst in Modelzone today, I have a quick butchers at the Italeri 2008 catalogue - under the 1:48 section something I was expecting to see in there wasn't (Merlin HM1) but something I wasn't expecting was (Chinook CH47D) - the latter shown with decal options for Netherlands, Spain & RAF. Shame about the Merlin, but great news on what looks like a HC2 Chinook
hacker
it is still listed else where but maybe it was decided upon too late for the catalog printng but then again who knows. As they say :shithappens:

Dave Fleming
Hmm, I'd assumed that the Merlin hadn't been mentioned in this year it was because it was last years - but looks like dropped! Shades of the 1/72 gazelle they anounced about 10 years ago
Scooby
The 2007 catalogue listed both (the D and the Merlin). At least the ones we had here in Canada did. I hope they still plan the EH-101.
Gary West
Just to add to the confusion, the photograph shown in the catalogue is actually of what was to be our HC.3 with the larger fuel tanks and capped nose.
