Darius at Home
Built for a friend of mine a few years ago. My first attempt at rigging with stretched sprue - I had yet to discover Aeroclub's stretchy rigging thread. Darius
Gary West
Stretched sprue - never mastered that one and doubt I ever will. Another fine model Darius.

BAC
That's fantastic! I too have the same kit which I bought having seen the real things in Vancouver a couple of years ago. It's inspiring me to get mine out of 'The Pile' perhaps sooner than later.
DHP
Mine is at the stage where I seriously need to think about painting. Going to do the same one, although my floats will be silver.. Great piece of work, inspires me to at least match yours! Cheers, Derek
Barneydhc82
Nice looking Beaver! I've seen AXI many times while having lunch at the Flying Beaver at YVR. I started the Hobbycraft kit some months ago only to find the wings ended up with about 5 degrees of sweepback...a transonic Beaver! So now it sits back in the spares box Barney http://www.barneysairforce.com
Richard B.
I am about a tenth of the way through a Noorduyn Norseman - the Beavers older cousin, if you will. Michael Potter of Vintage Wings says that the Beaver is the world's best STOL aircraft - and he's flown a lot of different aircraft. Here's a link to Vintage Wings. http://www.vintagewings.ca/page?s=63〈=en-CA Your model is a very fine representation of a very handsome aircraft - congratulations. Darius at Home
Hi Bootneck You could try using an Aeroclub white metal replacement prop. I obtained a few of their 1:48 Fairey Reed 3-blade props for use with the Special Hobby Grumman Goose kit that I have yet to build in a civvy scheme. The blades may need to be re-profiled but it is a starting point. Aeroclub Prop Darius
