Skii
Lovely work John, was nice to see her at SMW Thanks Mish, she survived a few bumps and scrapes during the trip too! Updates will be slow at the moment as my laptop has had to go for repair, wiring has begun in the bomb bays though...

Mike
Having seen the billion dollar boomerang at the show, I think you're doing a smashing job, and that paint job you have proposed for it should a ) take you forever to mask b ) look the shiznit! Everyone buy shares in Tamiya, cos masking tape sales are going to skyrocket!

Mike
I'm busily wiring the brake hoses on a set of wheels at the moment, and there's only three of them on each bogie, so I can appreciate how bats this is probably driving you. Incidentally, what're you using for wire? I usually use lead wire that's intended for tying flies for fishing. It's very malleable, and stays where you bend it

Skii
Bit more progress - the CSRLs are pretty much finished assembly wise, the small boxes at the end of each CSRL are the power control assembly and nuclear logic units, (I know that cos i read it in a book ) With each CSRL drilled and pinned with styrene rod this is what the eventual look should be, although this is less than half of the full payload. Skii
I've made a start on the undercarriage, the main gear wells have been busied up, more pipework and cabling to be added but you get the idea.. here are the main undercarriage legs, lots of turrell's lead wire here (cheers Mike ) the 4 pipes running parallel down the back of the legs are hydraulics hoses, the 2 either side are electric cables running through junction boxes each side - lights to be added to these later, the lower wires will be plumbed into the brake assemblies (also to be added)
