Miggers
Mark, I found the wing would not fit into the recess by a tiny fraction if left as is, it was a fraction of a MM too far forward so I enlarged the slot in the wing face on its forward edges so it would sit back a little then the wing slipped in perfectly . This is probably why yours is still out a fraction. I have only used a bit of filler to blank out the fuselage windows when not needed. Hope that helps Ted Aha!!!.That sounds about right Ted. I'll give 'em a "wipe" with a bit of wet'n'dry and that should take the pressure off the spars. I was going to give the windows a good coat of thickish paint and then buff them back when dry. Roland Pulfrew
Bl00dy hell Ted. Nice kits. I particularly like the Coastal Command one. What are you going to do with them once complete? Do you own a huge pad where you are?
JosephLalor
HomemadeJoseph I used a bit of scrap 80thou plasticard from my scrap box, I cut the bottom of the rudder off stuck the scrap on and sanded to shape then added a 20thou trim tab. Ted Hi Ted, Thanks for that. You've done it the old-fashioned way, good stuff. I must say I didn't know about Lincoln fins on Lancasters. Learned something here. I'd love to model the Lincoln one day. Oh, and afore I forget, great job on those Lancs. Joseph Edited March 5, 2008 by JosephLalor
