Graham T
Quick "Q". What colour are these on the GR7. Looks like green on top, clear below. Is that correct? One addition "Q". Is there a blast screen between the front & rear cockpits as per the Hawk/Bucc? If so is it infront of the "bridge" or behind? DamienB
Green only ever used on starboard wing tips. Beacons/strobes are red or white (often pilot-selectable within the same installation, so the housing itself is clear).
xffw45343tg
Presuming that you are talking about the anti collision beacons, (off the top of my head) both (together) they can be either of 2 colours - red or white according to the captions on the External Lighting Panel. I agree that the light fairings look green though - so hopefully someone in the know is reading.
Shaun
There is a flat blast screen between the cockpits, it is attached to the fixed canopy frame behind the front seat and is level with the frame arch. Early Harrier GR7 have a clear lens covering the anti collision beacons and the latest ones have green lens covering the beacons although they still flash white. I think the change of lens colour has something to with the NVG kit that the pilots now use. Shaun. Edited February 24, 2008 by Shaun

The original Kit Builder
I can confirm that the green filter on the anti-coll beacons is for NVG compatibility.
