  1. Hi folks. Here's my work on the Stug III ausf. F/8 by Dragon from the 90s. Not a great kit (a lot of recycled parts and thus detail that needs to be erased on the fenders which means the tread detail is lost). Their other Stugs were better in that regard. Thanks for looking
  2. 1/35 scale metal kit of the Imperial Japanese Navy type 96 25mm Gun (九六式二十五粍高角機銃, Kyūroku-shiki nijyūgo-miri Kōkakukijū) from Pit-Road .
  3. As soon as I saw this figure on D-Day Miniatures Facebook page, i knew i had to get one. So a quick email to Pawel and he was on its way Face and hands blocked in; Face and hands finished, mostly and beard blocked in with black After several different greys and whites the beard was completed and next was the first red layer on his coat ] But this looked a bit bright, even after adding Tamiya flat base to Tamiya's flat red so; A second layer was painted last night, using Val
  4. Revell 1/32 Arado AR196A-3 Seaplane "FINAL REVEAL!!": Hello Guys, Following on from my "Build Update #6" posting, I assembled the canopy onto the fuselage, attached an EZ-Line antenna, glued all the light lenses into their locations, glued the pitot tube and counter-balance weights onto the underside of the wings, along with door handles on the canopy frame sections, and, fitted the engine cowlings and engine bay doors in their open positions to complete her!! So, here are the "Final Reveal" images of my completed Arado AR196A-3...I hope you enjoy the views as much as I enjoyed building her!

  6. Hello Guys, Because I have to wait 8 weeks now for the missing part and damaged part to arrive from Revell Germany for my Revell 1/32 Spitfire Mk.IIa, I'm now going to start a new kit that will be my 2nd entry into "Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary GB" both on here and on YouTube- hosted by Ukscalemodeller and CharlesScaleModelling. This is Eduard's "Weekend Edition" of this model. You can buy what is called a "Profi-Pak" version that is more glitzier, that includes a full color booklet, photo-etch and more color/marking options. This kit was kindly given to me by a modeling buddy and so
  7. Hello Chaps, This was the 7th model that I built since starting modeling in January 2014. I completed this on April 27th, 2014. This was my first Tamiya kit and I really loved the build, it went together so well and some great looking details included such as the bomb bay with fuel cells, the cockpit and the undercarriage. This was the kit that got me turned on to loving Tamiya kits and just happens to be my favorite British Fighter Bomber Aircraft. There are plenty of after-market enhancements available for this kit, but, this was built out of the box. If you haven't built this kit before a
  8. Takom have three gorgeous 1/35 scale King Tiger kits due for release at the end of August, featuring zimmerit, full interior detailing, scale armour plate thickness and individual track links! For full details, please see our newsletter.
  9. Airfix 1/48 Supermarine Spitfire Mk.Vb "Build Introduction" (4.1.16) Hello Chaps, In 3 weeks time, my wife and I will be moving to our new home, so, I'm not going to start another large scale plane build until we are settled in. But, that said, I feel I might be able to grab a few hours here and there, in between packing, to build a smaller quicker build kit. Therefore, I've chosen this kit, which was one of five kits that my wife bought me for Christmas from the Airfix "Black Friday" sale. I have made a start on her this week, but haven't found the time to start a WIP on here until now. So

  12. Hello Chaps, I'm back to share with you my final build of 2015, that I completed the morning of New Years Eve. This was a gift from a fellow YouTube modeler, who sent it to me because he knew that I was enjoying building Luftwaffe aircraft during the last 8 months, but hadn't yet built a bomber, and that the Heinkel He 111 was a plane that I really wanted to get my hands on. This is a discontinued kit from 1994, but has been re-released under the Revell banner. For a 22 yr old kit, it has some reasonable details, including recessed panel lines on the exterior surfaces and three figures: a of

  15. Hi, here is my first Topic in Britmodellers "Naval department" Its a Type VIID Submarine from Revell in 1/144 scale, started many years back and stalled for some reason. It went back on my bench some weeks ago. Its more or less out of the box, i added some details on the main gun with stretched sprues and copper wires, the barrel is painted dark gray on the topside and light gray on the upper side. There is a compare picture with a 8,8cm gun right out of the box. The barrel of the 20mm gun was replaced with a steel needle. The antennas were made from stretched sprues and Ez line The isolat
  16. Hi here comes my first article, here on Britmodeller. The chosen subject is my Hasegawa P-40E.It is one of my favorite aircraft and like so much other WW II fighter types a must. The Hasegawa P-40 don t fall together, if you follow the instructions you run into very serious fit problems at the rear fuselage and aft of the canopy.I created completed fuselage halfs and close after this the fuselage, the gaps on the spine are better and easier to fill. There are also fit problems with the wing guns. After this it is a trouble free build and the completed kit look razor sharp like the real thing. Fo
