First off, quite a large box not much about the kit on it,nice painting though, real one would of been nice...second,i was totally suprised by the kit coming with the shuttle, already assembled and no chance of a open cargo bay.and lastly it came with three med size bags of parts and

  7. Hi,thought you may want to see this months edition of this mag,its got an epic space build in it,though there is only 4 pages, which does not do real justice to a build that has taken Felipe a mind boggling 3,000 hours i mean hats off to him,but really needs to get some thing else to do,i,m,h,o.,18 months doing one model,as roy castle used to sing "Thats Dedication",id have to place it a museum after that, anyway apart from the usual high standard planes etc, thats the only space build in it,by the way its in 1/144.. cheers Don Don
  8. Hi,thought you might like to see whats in,before you buy... Quite intresting articles on the recent russian meteorite, ten pages in all, good read. Launched 7 dec 72,landed on the moon on 11dec,moon landing site Taurus-Littrow,the lm landed about 300 yds short of target, with about two mins of fuel left,so could of had a fly round,if they had wanted. crew was Ron evans, jack schmitt,Gene cernan.cm call sign America,Lm call sign challenger,a
  12. Hi,check out the weird story of the scottish space fan,who has recently paid to have his photo taken up to the iss, stamped as having been there, photographed against a window with the earth as a backdrop, and returned ,to earth, now has pride of place in east lothian. But i thought the weirdest part of the story is in his space collection,he has two samples of moon dust, one off the apollo11 one of the apollo 15 mission,he bought them with provenance,a few years ago,but it seems nasa said he should,nt have them they are a us national treasure?,anyway as he has bought them legally, nasa,s struggling

The Curiosity Rover is vying with the Higgs Boson Particle for Time Magazines person of the year award, to be announced December 14th. It could be only the third non human to win it in 87 years. 20. Hi ,just seen new pics on line from mars, top notch, its a bit of a bugger though, when we do our models,i was always led to believe, rightly or wrongly,i understand its all about filters and such, that mars always had a tinge of the red spectrum, you know cocoa powder etc,now looking at these pics,i have a few bottles of vallejo iraqui sand, which will do nicely for future projects, Hope everyones well out there.cheers Don
