HI,heres a few more photos, its starting to get big, this is just the cab. i couldn.t get the tyres how i wanted them,so this will have to do,unless anyone has a few tips for getting a realistic rubber look? When assembling ive found the suspension arms on the tyres to be very fragile,ie they snap easy when you apply pressure on the centre pin, which holds them.so ease them in otherwise they break like mine. these are the arms that snap easy now put together its starting to look something like. heading towards this cheers Don

Hi, since Oct its been all go every where, new missiles in Israel, mankinds furthest venture ever. News from Mars, private space co,s splash downs ,its all happening....first a passion of mine, missiles and rockets unfortunately they come hand in hand with war. Several batteries of the patriot system, based in Germany and Holland, being moved to protect Turkeys borders, its the latest version pac-3 being sent ,might cause a bit of escalation? hope not. Talking of the Patriot System ,Israel's been testing a new missile called Stunner by Raytheon and trials of a new system have been tested, called Davids Sling Interception System also called 'Magic Wand' Developed by Raytheon and the US Missile Defence Agency. It has proved it is all weather 'hit to kill' performance was exceptional against a variety of short range ballistic missiles, large callibre rockets and cruise missiles at a cheap price. Israels five iron dome batteries shot down 421 incoming rockets, a kill rate of 84% but iron domes only sited near large population centres. Whereas the Davids Sling system will cover the whole country? Israel intends to deploy another five iron dome batteries, partly funded by the US. It's cost the US tax payer 900 million dollars for the iron dome system since 2011. Most rockets fired at Israel are the Katyusha and Qassam rockets, and the Kornets Anti Tank Missiles, all designed and built in Iran. Plus a few Russian designed Grad rocketsbuilt in Iran. Also used in some longer range Iranian FAJR-5 missiles. Seemingly some of Israels F151's attacked and destroyed a launch site in Sudan supposingly launching Shahab-3 ballistic missiles. Space. The Chinese are gardening fresh veg in extra terrestial bases planned for the moon and Mars to produce fresh veg to eat and oxygen as part of their ambitious space programme to put an exploratory lander on the moon by next year, and in the longer term to put a manned lander on the Moon. The Mars 1 organisation from Holland has revealed plans to land four people on Mars in 2023 with four additional crew every two years. Unfortunately it's a one way trip so you live and die on the planet, but if you fancy it there is still time to apply as they are not picking until next year. It has a website to apply on, I think there are 1000 takers so far! Probably the biggest news is Voyager is at the edge of the Universe, after 35 years. So we are close to entering, in the next few months, outer space at last. its now 11 billion miles from our Sun and it takes only 17 hours for its radio signal to reach Earth! How good is that! Voyagers, on the down side, it's camera was turned off after it passed Neptune in 1989 to conserve power, which will run at the moment until 2020. So scientists are now considering which other instruments to turn off. As it will run out of power completely in 2025, unless it gets a passing jump start! Its more remarkable that its 1970's technology has only 100,000th of the computer memory of an i-pod Nano (if I knew what one of those was!) Big news in our solarsystem, Nasa's messenger spacecraft. which landed on Mercury in 2011, has found ice at it's poles. Thats if for now.......maybe more to follow, it has been a busy month! Cheers, Don
