    PM Sea Fury

Quick build for £2.99 no after market or anything just started dry fitting and before you know it out pops a sea fury. Decals are the ones in the PM kit Not worried about the accuracy of the kit just enjoyed building it and seeing the result. Rodders

"I choose to end this story now"

well as far as my modelling year goes anyway. Here in no particular order are the fruits of my 2012. Not as many as I would usually do, as spent a considerable part of the year constructing the man cave, getting married, honeymooning etc etc Anyway onto the models. Trumpeter 1/48 Sea Fury ...and another!!!!! still with the FAA, the Classic Airframes Gannet converted to a T2, just a nightmare build from start to finish Hasegawa 1/48 Hornet and finally, Hasegawa 1/48 Hurricane IIC not quite making it by the end of the year were the airfix 737, (actually may make it as it being painted at the moment) and another Has. Hornet and hurricane. To all and your families, A very Merry Xmas. A big thanks to those that helped me out with various things throughout 2012, heres to a productive 2013 for all Roll on, that Airfix 48 Javelin (and a gannet would be nice too!! Bruce
  3. This one has been sitting on a shelf in my office for almost 7 years. One of the last models I completed using enamels (Humbrol, brush painted). Hope you enjoy it.

    Trumpeter Sea Fury

This is the last of my Trumpeter sea fury's from the shelf of doom . As with my last one I incorporated the JKT corrections, as well as a squadron vac canopy Spinner and blades are Cooper Detail items, as are the undercarriage legs. The cooper legs are about 3mm longer than the kit legs and improve the sit of the kit no end compared to the kit legs. The CD spinner and blades also improve the look of the finished model, the kit spinner is rather pointy. Apart from that Humbrol paint, 104 oxford blue, to be precise and a mix of Aussie decals, Aeromaster and decal spares. I still think the aeromaster roundels are oversized, also the buggars refused to sit down into the detail. I still need to add some exhaust staining Not my best work, got rushed towards the end just to get it off the bench as it has been sitting there a year!! Thats it! I'm seafuried out at the moment,on with the hurricanes! Bruce
