Ladies and Gentlemen, Many years ago I posted the building of an aircraft found in a Christmas cracker, which lots of people really enjoyed After this I was sent a floatplane version by @Dave N which I put in a very safe place, and promptly forgot where I'd put it.... However it has recently reemerged so this GB provides the ideal opportunity to build it. As you can see its moulded in 3 different colours of plastic like the Matchbox kits of old and therefore I have decided to build it out of the box or should that be Cracker ! It even has a seat moulded to the wing although I think they have overdone the cockpit green, by painting the wings, floats and prop in the same colour. More later Cheers Pat

As soon as I saw this figure on D-Day Miniatures Facebook page, i knew i had to get one. So a quick email to Pawel and he was on its way Face and hands blocked in; Face and hands finished, mostly and beard blocked in with black After several different greys and whites the beard was completed and next was the first red layer on his coat ] But this looked a bit bright, even after adding Tamiya flat base to Tamiya's flat red so; A second layer was painted last night, using Vallejo Scarlet (plus tamiya flat base) and i am happier with this colour. But like a numpty i have painted over the trim which should be white (darker Red areas !) so that needs sorting next.
