Ok a rummage around the stash produced nothing to replace the EBR-75 build, and of course I had to keep stepping over this beast all the time as I was looking through the stash. It was sort of like the most unsubtle of hints that she wanted to be built! So she’s huge, has over 800 bits, why build it when I know I won’t have a lot of time to spend on her….am I completely mad! Well other than the major parts, the rest of the model is made up of modules, like lots of small kits in one, and apart for the PE antennas, all are actually simple to build. So I can pretty much complete different section in one sitting, and jumping around the different sections is pretty much how I build anyway….who follows instructions! The box is completely filled with sprue.. The bench is completely covered, there’s another layer hiding underneath that lots! PE bit, copper wire (or is it brass??), metal shafts and even some chain! Just so I’m not completely out of my depth, there are even some bits with wings on! The hardest part of the colour scheme will be masking the hull! What a pleasant change that’ll make! …and she is huge! Well I’m completely out of my comfort zone with this build, I can’t promise I’ll finish her in time, but I have so wanted to build her for so long………plus I’ll get back some valuable stash space as well!
