Welcome aboard, My first entry will be the 1/48 Eduard Bf109E-1/3 from an overtrees boxing. Here are the opening shots of photocopied instructions: I intend this to be my first "in flight" build, so AM will be limited to the Aerobonus seated Bf109E pilot and the masks and PE that came with the kit. The decals and stencils are from an E-1 profipack kit that I also have: The pilot is beautifully moulded, but has his left arm posed resting on the cockpit coaming, so a little modification will be needed there: I have not settled on a scheme as yet. I have chosen two from the original 8261 boxing as either of these: Or this E-3 (hence the hedged bet in the title) from the Royal Class boxing which will also need a rear vision mirror from the accompanying PE: So that's the plan. I should break plastic in a week or so with this nice simple build to start as opposed to the other build I have planned. Regards,

Well as a classic car enthusiast, I've grown up in a household very dedicated to Classic Ford's (I'm different however, building a Classic Mini ) My Step Dad has 2 Mk1 Capri's... He has had this model sat in a wardrobe for many years (dated 1987!) and handed it to me last night to build for him to go on his desk at work I've tried doing a bit of reading up on it, but am unable to find much information about the model If anyone has any info that would be brilliant! It has an Optional Electric motor which powers the rear wheels, but I do not know if I will use it, as it will only be a static display! Will update this when I progress with the build! Thanks Chris
