Evening all! I just picked up Revell's E190 for a tenner, but there's no chance in hell I'm settling for the boring Lufthansa livery. I started searching for interesting liveries and decals available and I came across THIS beauty. I found Bsmodelle decals for this, but am I biting off a bit more than I can chew? I only recently got back into the hobby, and I'm not sure how I would go about masking this unique scheme I have Tamiya flexible masking tape, but then I'm sure I'd end up masking it all wonky so is there another way I could mask it? Thanks in advance! P.S. I would have posted the photo directly here but I don't want to wake up the hotlinking and copyright gremlins
Hi, Reading through the news today, I stumbled upon an article which had this image in the header: http://www.faz.net/aktuell/finanzen/reiseziel-taiwan-internationale-fluggesellschaften-fuegen-sich-peking-15706928/flugzeuge-von-am-flughafen-von-15706931.html#fotobox_1_5706928. I'm talking about the black-red liveries in the front. There isn't much information regarding it other than "Aircraft at the Washington Airport" but I immediately thought "That's a change compared to white although, not very attractive". Can someone please shed some line as to which airline this might be? Many thanks in advance! Cristian
I wish to start painting a model of a PBY-5A Catalina as a Canso of Buffalo Air in this yellow livery but am having difficulty identifying the colour demarcations, especially from above and below. Does anyone here know of the source for the top plan and underside colour areas please. I am building the kit as part of a Group Build but cannot continue until I can ascertain the colour locations. cheers Mike
Hi Guys, This isn't completely done yet, but i've been itching to share it. A320 Easyjet 250th Airbus livery, made from the 1/144 Revell kit. Proved a little less cooperative than the 3 x A319's i've built, but generally not bad! Decals from Draw decal, can't remember for the life of me the site I ordered the winglets from. Chris
Hi everyone, I was looking around the web for Fokker 100 pictures when I came across this: http://www.aviastar.org/air/holland/fokker_100.php http://www.abpic.co.uk/photo/1369132/ Does anyone know if Iran Air Fokkers soldiered on for any amount of time in this livery or was it right about then when livery got changed that these aircraft came into service and they received directly the all-white coat? Was/ is there any decal sheet of this livery in 1/144 (most likely not for the Fokker, but perhaps for the Boeing 727)? If not, does anybody know of a close-up picture showing the fuselage logos? I know that up front it says "Iran Air, The Airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran" but I couldn't find any picture where one can clearly see the fonts used - not that I could visually identify fonts or anything , but at least to have a clear view of the letters there... Thank you! Cheers, Niki
