I was just about to paint the undercarriage bays on my Airfix 1/72 Hurricane and I see my fairly old jar of XF-16 flat Aluminum has gone a bit thick.
I'm wondering what might be the best way to thin this to a good consistency for brush painting. I have Tamiya X-20A thinner and Tamiya Lacquer thinner.
I also have two strengths on isopropyl alcohol and some distilled water. As I'm a 450km. six-hour drive from the closest hobbyshop that might have Tamiya paint in stock,
getting a replacement bottle won't be happening for a while.
