Here is my MAC 1/72nd scale UAZ-469, my first vehicle build in decades. The kit wasn't great, but I managed to squeeze it out. In fact, it looks suitably banged up for a Balkan SFOR Czech vehicle. All the paints are Vallejo and Vallejo Air and it is OOB. I liked building it and will continue to achieve balance between aircraft and vehicles... --Next up...Dodge surplus forestry fire truck! --John

In this time of social distancing, quarantining, etc...it seems only fitting that I should visit my earth-bound neighbours over here in the armour/vehicles area of Brit Modeller. I hope to not offend! I have built my share of vehicles over the years and a recent GB has prompted me to get back into it...slowly...! I am waiting for a German armoured car to arrive for that GB, so in the meantime I thought I would warm up the bench with this little number... I will be building the DDR version... although there are some interesting decals supplied... Sprue...There is enough for two or three different variants of this vehicle, mostly armed with cannon. I will leave those alone for now. There seems to be a fair amount of flash I need to clean up. Some PE and foil has been supplied... So I think what I will do is keep two builds going on the bench--an aircraft and a vehicle. That sounds fun. --John
