56-1289, Nellis, July 1980. Also a target for AIM-9P evaluations. If I remember correctly, this drone was lost over the Nellis ranges during this visit. It was a manned flight and the Sperry pilot ejected over Dog Bone Dry Lake when the drone caught fire.

Any idea what that dump pipe is for on the left side of the exhaust? Obviously a good place to secure the pitot cover.
