My second ever AFV! My first was the Tamiya 1/35 Leopard 2A6 but now I can see myself continuing on the well trodden path of 1/72. Saying that I do have a 1/35 Austin Ambulance, 1/35 Grant & a 1/35 Daimler armoured car in the stash! Anyway this is a 3R model kit picked up from a chap at the MAFVA club table at the Biggleswade show 2022. You know who you are! Basically along with Courageous's 1/72 military vehicles I am gradually taking a route down the OD/Tanky thing path, which is a nice change from building nice clean aircraft. 3R model kit of the Stryker M1128 MGS. All painted with Ammo Mig. Washes & pigments from Ammo, some dry brushing for highlighting. A really pleasant & highly detailed kit out of the box. Hopefully more AFV's to come. Also if anyone knows where I can get decals for 1/72 British Chieftains I would be most grateful. Thanks. Martin

I've been away from this forum for a year now.Had absolutely no will to make any kits in that period of time but recently I got back into it.Currently working on getting this Stryker done before Christmas. It's a pretty good kit by Trumpeter, surprisingly cheap too. Took these pics with my phone thus the crap quality, colors are a bit off too... Yes that gap in between the panels is annoying. Lol the colors are so off on this one that it makes mud and dust look like rust.

Hi everyone! I'd like to share with you my latest build. Few words before pictures. It's a great kit. Quite enjoyable, it's just a shame that Strykers are not painted in any nice camo. I've added Tamiya's Modern U.S. equipment to make the model more alive. Straps are made with masking tape. Enjoy! Thanks, Bart
