Hi Chaps, With great enthusiasm i plan to join this Saab Viggen STGB masquerading as the Scandinavian group build under the New Nordic title. Although i have an Airfix Viggen at the bottom of the stash, I shall endeavour to turn the Special Hobby Viggen into something approaching trickyrich's efforts in the Specialist GB last year. I bought this from Hannants in 2017 so was able able to compare it to the Tarangus kit which was significantly more expensive. Lucky I did because it is the same kit! Another great reason to support your local hobby shop. My last Special Hobby kit was the truly shocking R4 helicopter which hit the bin mid last year. Hoping for slightly better from this one. Since i live here on the outer rim, this will be a resin free build using only a set of 2 Bob's decals bought many years ago, some plans and Milliput. Oh and 200 pictures i took of the one in the Newark air museum. Scheme will be the splinter one. You know what the sprues look like by now. Colin

Joining you with this Italeri RF-4 Phantom. Which I'm intending to build as the Luftwaffe Splinter camp option. This kit cost me £8, at Gloucester model show earlier this year.

Hello all, I've been looking forward to this GB for some time and having recently been to both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, i've decided to build 2 jets from those nations' air forces. First up, a 1/48 Eduard Mig-21MF from the Czech Air Force in 1998, finished in the superb looking splinter scheme: (net image) Kit: Extras: Eduard cockpit, Syhart decals and Pavla seat. This is only my second Mig-21, first Eduard Mig-21 and first Mig in about 5 years! Dave

Hello all, Here is my entry for this GB; Academy's 1/48 Su-27 Flanker B in the markings of the Ukrainian Air Force. The kit: The aftermarket: Will be using a Pavla cockpit, Quickboost resin nose, Master brass pitot tube, Begemot decals and a J's Work paint mask. The scheme, though not the exact aircraft: (Picture from the net) Once my F-14 is cleared off the bench, I'll make a start. Dave
