Hello, This is Miles M3 Falcon Six in markings of Spanish Republican Airforces. Now one preserved and restored Falcon is painted in such marking. Here is some historical info: http://wp.scn.ru/en/ww15/o/163/75/0 The basis for conversion was Miles Magister from Frog/Novo, 1/72, although some hand work and sanding was needed to get the result. Scratch work is whole fuselage and u/c. The book in the background is one from series "Aviones de Guerra Civil Espaniol", the volume on English, Czech and Polish airplanes used in Spanish Civil War. However, exactly those scheme which I apply is not displayed in this book. In conversion I used also drawings from Putnam book on brothers Miles company. Ooops - I see now, that the tail wheel seems to be broken.... I have to repair it! Regrads Jerzy-Wojtek

Hi, I would like to show next old English bird from Silver Wings Era (like Shark, Wallace and Wapiti) but involved in a war - the Bristol Bulldog from Airfix. This is also an old kit (coming from beginning of 1970s, as I remember - am I wrong?). I made this model about 10 years ago - and in this time my eyes were sharp without any glasses...- what makes difference at least for me. This is in Spanish Republican Markings - now I realized that perhaps I should put this in "between wars forum". However, I hope that WWII forum is still a proper forum for airplanes from Spanish Civil War, since it was a prelludium to WWII. So, please enjoy the photos... Any comments welcomed!
