Hello everyone …. This is my very late finish of an AT-6D started in the Texan single type group build. It represents an aircraft operated by ALA MIXTA N° 46/GANDO/C.6-167 circa 1975 in the Spanish Sahara. A brief history that I found stated this. “This armed Spanish Air Force C.6 (T-6C/D) of Escaudron 463 at Ganda, was used in the counter insurgency role over the Spanish Sahara during 1975.” I chose the markings as there is a plane about 1 mile from my house that used to wear these markings as a warbird. Though it currently wears a new scheme. The kit is the Encore release of the Academy plastic. Hello everyone ... I have this and the plan is to start with just the one build. Im thinking I will save the second one for a later time. My plan is to build it as a AT-6D used by the Spanish Air Force in North Africa. Decal sheet is worth the cost of the boxing all by itself, mine are just left of center. Please feel free to ask questions, post comments or add thoughts. Dennis

Hello everyone I’m building a Spanish Air Force AT-6D in the TEXAN single type build. The type flown over the Sahara and I would like to add the rocket launchers/rockets something like this. https://pin.it/2dZe5zN Does anyone make them aftermarket in 1/72 ? Ive found them in 1/48 & 1/32 but nothing in 1/72. I know that Special hobby’s 1/72 Buchon comes with them. Im pretty sure I can scratch-build them the rockets are dirt simple. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/8_cm_Flz.-Rakete_Oerlikon I would need a close up of the rocket tree as they're staggered vertically. They come two to a mount and four rockets/two tree’s to a wing. Any help would be appreciated. Dennis -
A placeholder if I may, while I finish off two builds for the ANZAC GB and progress two more for the Anything but Plastic GB. Acquired this kit in Spain before they changed from pesetas to Euros - so a while ago! Using this years various group builds to shape what I am making in 2021 and now a fine excuse to build this one. Will be Spanish AF but not done any research yet. Box shot only as I haven't even opened the contents. Cheers JP

Hello, Here's my just finished 1/72 Italeri SF-5B. I was looking through the stash after my previous build, a grey Harrier GR.7, and thought this would be a nice colourful change. The kit does offer a Spanish version out of the box, but the decals didn't look right to me, so I ordered an aftermarket sheet from Series Españolas. These were much better, and worked very well. I painted the model with Vallejo Metal Color and some Tamiya black. Overall, it was a fun build, with only the canopy actuators being a bit fiddly. Thanks for looking, I hope you like it.

A group build that I think I can hopefully achieve a completion on in time! I have the Academy F-86 in both 1/72 and 1/48 and have plumped for the 1/48 scale machine. I am planning to build a collection of Spanish AF aircraft and this will be my first one, although I have a couple of civil war aircraft on the go. LF Decals purchased to go with the Aademy kit, which will be OOB. I also plan on using Alclad for the first time - so here we go! Some obligatory pics to kick off with. Box art - possibly seen a few times before! Sprues Pilot x 2! Decals - yellow looks a tad lemon coloured Basic reference book which may be of some help - or not! Not many pics on the net of Spanish AF machines. Anyway looking forward to my first 1/48 jet fighter
