  1. Hello! RAL 8000 (FS 30215) "Brown" together with RAL 5008 (FS 35053) "Blue" and RAL 7044 (FS 37722) "Grey" is said to be used by IAF first fighters - Avia199, Spitfire Mk. IXe and P-51D Mustang by Sky Decals. So what is RAL 8000? Brown, yellow or... ? Is there any Humbrol equalent to RAL 8000? Or Tamiya? Cheers / André
  2. The Italians had so many cool looking camo schemes, difficult to decide which one to do, also most of them are tough to recreate. In this cas my dad chose an "easier" scheme of the 281 Sqn Regia Aeronautica. Trumpeter kit, decals are from the kit and Sky Models, paints from Gunze and Tamiya except the metal surfaces, they were painted with Model Master paints.
  3. Finished this morning with the last little bits. Hasegawa F-4E kit with Sky decals, painted with Gunze Aqueous and Alclad. Used a Quickboost Skyhawk refuelling probe and some plastic tubing to make the refuelling probe. Good fun, apart from the stencil hell. The build thread is available here Peter
  4. After the He-111 something i've been planning for a while - due to an administrative error, I ended up with 2 Hasegawa F-4E's when I really only wanted one, so I got some Sky Decals to do it as an IDF one. However i've also got some resin seats, and a quickboost refuelling probe for an A-4 Skyhawk to make the refulling probe that's permanently deployed for IDF Phantoms. And the decals Work starts as is normal with the cockpit - started painting up the cockpit Peter
