Hi folks!
It’s my latest build - Yugoslavian fighter MiG-29 (9-12). Trumpeter kit in 1/72 scale.
This multi-purpose front-line fighter was created in USSR in 1983. And could carry various weapons - bombs, rocket pods and different A-A missiles and build-in cannon GSH-301.
Aftermarket not used
I had scratch build and add some handmade plastic parts
My changes:
- cockpit
- engine nozzles
- nose and main landing gear
- all landing headlights
- A-A missiles
- all antennas, main Pitot tube and others
PAINTING – AKAN and ZIPmaket acrylic colors
WASHING – MIG (dark and neutral wash)
VARNISHIES – mat TAMIYA and FUTURE
DECALS – “LIFT HERE decals” (Made in Serbia)
I present aircraft (number 18109) Serbian pilot-hero lieutenant colonel Milenco Pavlovich (commander of the 204th Air-Defense Regiment, Batainica, 1999). He was shot down in an unequal air battle by attacking the twelve NATO fighters.
Pleasant watching!
