So this little beauty arrived in the post this morning, being an ex Boscombe Down guy there was only one choice about which scheme it'll be! Annoyingly there's errors in the scheme. The decals are for XX830 but 830 never had the NDT stripes on the tail, also they were yellow not white although I've seen photos where the underside ones look like chromate primer. then there's the box showing two fuel tanks then only suppling one. Anything else I should keep an eye out for? Cheers, Chris

Good evening, I stumbled across this photo of a updated and change camouflage scheme applied very late in the Omani Jaguar's career: Airliners.net link There is another a two seater taken from the same position also on Airliners.net, but doesn't provide any more information. The markings look to be the same as any other Omani Jaguar, but to map out the camouflage scheme, other angles would be required. Unfortunately this is the only photo I've found of this late scheme. I'm guessing a language difference has hindered the search. Does anybody know of any other photos? Cheers, Hoops

I see we have no jaguar paws tripping around here yet. I'll go for the Heller kit and markings from a Hi-Decal sheet. Not the best kit but still buildable. A did a small diorama some years ago based on the low-flying Jaguar that chopped a car roof in Oman,

Sepecat Jaguar Wheels & Paint Mask Set 1:72 Aires Wheels are one of those parts that resin is generally able to represent better in 1:72 than some other parts. Aires wheels for the Jaguar are no exception. You are presented with one nose wheel and 4 main wheels all on one strip of resin. The Parts are well moulded and with minimal connection to the base strip itself. Also included in this set is a set of masks to enable the modeller to paint the wheels without having to mask them yourself. Conclusion Great parts to add realism and a candid look to your finished model, and well cast. The inclusion of the masks is great for those of us who hate painting wheels. Highly recommended.
