  1. Just a quick heads-up that the Leopard Tank STGB starts this coming Saturday - 27th May. It would be great to see as many as possible Leopard Tanks, or the many variants, being built over the next three months! All the details and the place to record the progress of your build can be found here: https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/forum/798-leopard-tank-stgb/ @modelling minion and I hope to see you there soon! Kind regards, Stix

  3. Welcome to The Britmodeller Forum FW190 and derivatives Single Type Group Build! When: 21/1/23-23/4/23 Hosts: Marklo and Corsairfoxfouruncle Eligible subjects: Anything, but only, the numerous variants, developments and conversions of the WW2 Foce Wulf 190 and TA152 Fighter/Jabo/torpedo bomber/recce/night fighter/paper projects but not what ifs (there goes my TA152Z ). Scale and material are of your own choice. Rule #1 have fun and don’t let the deadlines stress you!!! Rule #2 be creative, they made twenty thousand of these things so let’s see some weird and wonderful variations. Rule #3 While there is the traditional 25% rule with regard to how far progressed any project is at the start of GBs, let's treat this as an optional guideline rather than a rule. Better to get a completed model on display than another stalled project on the shelf of shame. All we ask is that you post the completion photos in the Inspiration Gallery rather than the main Gallery thread. Rule #4 Build thread: All builds must have a work in progress- thread. In my opinion, builds based on recently online-reviewed kits need not document the kit more than in a general view of what you´ve got – unless You wish to do that, of course. Should you use aftermarket stuff like decals, etch, resin… please show us what you got! Rule #5 Multiple builds in one build thread are welcome. Rule #6 Gallery posts: Each post should contain just one build per entry and no more than five photos. All comments should go in the subject's build thread only, let's keep the gallery neat and tidy! Rule #7 Swapping: Any parts/decals/kits etc. that you want to buy or sell must be posted in the forum's dedicated Buy/Sell area only. Rule #8 if in doubt refer to Rule #1 or ask me, Dennis or Enzo Poll: There'll probably be one when the GB concludes, for all the completed models in the Gallery. Please don't canvas for votes and don’t stress about it… Regards Mark and Dennis
  4. Dragon Panzer IV Ausf H Hi Everyone, pretty pleased with how this came out and really enjoyed being part of the Panzer IV group build. The Dragon kit was a fun build even with tricky instructions and loads of parts (not all necessary in my opinion) however, the detailing and the zimmerit effect is excellent and I will certainly try another Dragon kit in future. Thanks for looking Build can be found here Yetifans Panzer IV Ausf H WIP Thread
  5. Back in October of last year Enzo gave us a start date for the second AFV only Single Type Group Build on Britmodeller - for Panzerkampfwagen IVs and closely related AFVs. Well in only a few hours this GB will be starting! It only seems like two minutes since I posted that announcement about the start date last October! It would be great to have as many modellers taking part as possible - so if you'd like more details they can be found here. Kind regards, Stix
  6. Hello Everyone ... Fresh out of the Me. 262 STGB. I present V056. I made this from the Hobbyboss easybuild kit in 1/72nd scale. This Me. 262 served as a prototype and test mule for most of her life. In the guise i am presenting her she was the prototype for the single seat night fighter. Also a test mule for the stability of the Vertical stab. & rudder due to the Stag horn antennas. A link to the WIP. As usual questions, comments, or jokes ? Dennis
  7. M4A1 SHERMAN 1/35 ITALERI Hi Pals, here is the Sherman for the occasion, finally finished, not exactly as I thought at first, but IMHO, it's not bad at all .... As I mentioned in the thread of the GB, I had problems with the choice of what the kit would look like, first, U.S. Army of choice of Italeri, then U.S. Winter Camo, and finally something with a British accent ... more or less with the resources that were available ... What to say about the tracks, the ones that the kit brought, when they were already fixed and painted, ended up collapsing ... damn ... fortunately, I had the others from the same kit that I did about 1 century ago (I really did them in the last century ... lol), and interestingly they had better quality than the most recent ... "Twilight Zone ....". Some shots in detail... Some shots closer... Thanks for watch and comment as always, cheers mates
  8. Hi All This is my first GB for a while so am looking forward to seeing a load of beautiful Hunters.soon. Here is my starting point and hopefully the end point is XL618 at the Camarthen Air museum in North Wales. Colin
  9. EDIT 11.10.14: Please disregard all that´s written later on about allowing other than Junkers Ju 88 types in this build (no 188:s, 288:s, 388:s or whatever); but good for us, there are plenty of Ju 88 subtypes in various scales to offer us variety, when this build will take place (not if). Regards, V-P So this is what I was trying to post earlier but chickened out... I know that the schedule is already stretched over a year and a half from this date but I just couldn´t resist proposing this any longer. If there´s no interest then it´s no worries either but why don´t I at least ask what the community thinks about it. I´m just wondering if the single type definition is stretched too far if edit: all the various Ju x88 subtypes are also allowed... Who should rule this matter, is that You, Mish? Regards, V-P EDIT: list of interested as of 5.2.2015 1) vppelt68 (host) 2) smuts (co-host) 3) Arniec 4) kwaterous 5) Mottlemaster 6) trickyrich 7) Radleigh 8) Mish 9) Blastvader 10) JOCKNEY 11) Stew Dapple 12) Scopedog3 13) bobster 14) Dazzio 15) Sgt.Squarehead (thank you!) 16) hgbn 17) Ozzy 18) Potato Pete 19) dazdot and that should make it to the calender :-) EDIT: which it did, running from Sat 7th May 2016 to Sun 7th August 2016 (preliminary info). Thanks Mish!
