I was wondering if its possible to 'reverse-engineer' Revell's F-4F into a 'Nam era F-4E and what would be needed to pull that off. I'm not an expert on the finer differences between Phantom versions, hence this question. I know that Hasegawa has a good F-4E, but its about 3 1/2 times more expensive and I can't find the version that I want either. The crazy Hase prices plus needing aftermarket decals/parts on top of that (somewhere around €50) is making me consider the Revell option. Any Britmodellers think it's a viable one? TIA

This is my recently completed Phantom F-4C. The model is produced by Italeri and is a reasonable kit given its age. I did not do much to it other than add rivets to almost the whole aircraft. It is my first Vietnam USAF SEA tri-colour camo kit and I will be making more as it was fun to paint.

Having spent a fair few years in the seventies and eighties shredding my hands on spiky bits of locking wire, and various sharp bits, of F4 Ks and Ms, I thought I would like to have a go at building a decent size model of one. Are there any models on the market still? If so, and more than one manufacturer, which would be the best to get. Would prefer aircraft in green grey colour scheme. Thanks, in advance, for your help.
