Well, it's finally fully completed and on its base. The build thread is here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234934724-pacific-coast-models-132-spitfire-ixc/ Other pictures of the Spit, the figure and the work tables on their own are here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234952426-132-pacific-coast-models-spitfire-ixc/ But here are the pics of the final model as handed to the client. Happy days

Here are the initial pics of my build. This is the Pacific Coast Models 1/32 Spitfie IXc, to be done as Skalski's aircraft for a friend. Kit by Sword, etch & resin by Eduard, decals by Cartograf. Thanks to the advice posted here on Britmodeller for the seat and exhaust colours, which have been interesting to do The exhaust, sprayed with Alclad Dark Aluminium, light overcoat with Jet Exhaust to give a yellowish hot metal tone, then light coverings of Transparent Smoke, Hotmetal Sepia and Transparent Red Sienna. Then a light drybrush of Tamiya Orange to give the highlights and a drybrush dust of light grey for the exhaust. The seat, sprayed with Tamiya Red Brown (as I recall) and overcoated with Tamiya Transparent Orange. Seat leather a multitude of different Games Workshop browns, all thinned and brushed and shaded with inks/washes. Kinda works.
