Afternoon chaps. I'm currently driving a 2008 ford focus 1.8 petrol. I'm happy with the car, except for the fuel economy. My fuel computer shows that I'm hitting at best 24mpg,as you can see from the picture above. I think this is pretty poor. I've looked online and the indication is I should be getting 40.3mpg, according to Ford, and a real world figure of 34.7mpg. This link illustrates some real world figures, as submitted by over 1000 drivers..... https://www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/ford/focus-2008 Can anyone recommend some things I can do to improve my economy? I drive at a steady, and legal speed, never over Rev the engine, and don't accelerate particularly hard. All my Tyre pressures are spot on. Could this point to a particular problem with my engine? Any thoughts from the britmodeller.com collective? Thanks for looking in. Matt
