  1. I don't know...you wait 4 years for an RFI from ModelMonkey then two come along practically at once... This is the original (1976!) boxing of the venerable Tomy/Peerless Max Raupenschlepper Ost (RSO/01). I'd done the Italeri boxing of this about 20 years ago but had abandoned the nearly completed model on the shelf of doom after I couldn't persuade the included super-springy rubber tracks to behave. I then lost it when I moved out of my parent's house. I looked for years for another one - unwilling (as a Scotsman) to pay for the new Dragon boxing... I found the original boxing at the Scottish Champs in Perth this April and was delighted to find that the tracks were usable, the decals were still good and best of all there was a bonus Nebelwerfer in the box. There was also a driver , but he was about 25% overscale. Really enjoyed the build - along with my vintage Esci Triumph motorbike - it's a pretty good kit and was challenge free. I now just need to make/buy a load of stowage for the back. Built 100% OOB. On with the pics!
