The book is 160 pages long and available in softback or E Book format. It is lavishly illustrated throughout with over 680 photographs. It covers building the kits, painting them, modifying them; and detailing them. The author uses a wide range of kits and materials readily available to achieve his results. Each individual project is clearly explained to the modeller with a step by step guide. Core building techniques are explained as well as more advanced techniques for detailing, and modifying of existing components. Painting and finishing also feature; from getting a show room finish, all the way though to weathering techniques. The book features the following areas; An introduction to Plastic Kits. It is clearly written by a modeller for other modelers, with clear and concise steps to follow in order to achieve the desired results. Even though this is essentially a "truck" book the tips and techniques on show will transform to all other types of modelling. As its not a sponsored book the author uses which ever products he thinks will give the best results. Highly recommended. Review sample courtesy of
