Well Zhizhou arrives at the party a tad late, but you did start the GB early which I was not expecting. I'm going to do two builds, the first of which is a Mirage IVA using the venerable old Heller 1/72nd kit. I'm going to decorate it with a scheme from the Model ART decal set 72/056. Other than the decals, I'm going to do it more or less out of the box. I'm going to do a NMF scheme as it will give me the opportunity to exercise my rattle can skills. I have made a start and done about 6 hours work prepping the wings and cockpit. I have taken photos of the few steps made so far. The bang seats are being painted ready for enclosure. I'm going to have the canopies closed so not much of the cockpit is going to be visible. For my second build, like Wez, I'm going to do a Mirage VF but using the original PJ Production 5F/IIIR/RZ, kit 721028. I'm going to build her straight out of the box using the kits decals. I'll do a separate build thread for this. Both the Mirage IV and 5F will go towards the Mirage SIG inventory, the aim will be to complete them ready for mid October and the trip to Hyeres and the AVM83 Model Expo. They will also make it onto the tables at SMW a few weeks later. I do have one or two major hurdles to over come with both these threads though. Earlier this year, my laptop blew up and I still need to replace it and reconnect with sites like photobucket and flickr. At present I'm using my works laptop but the encryption system chews up USB flash drives easy peasy. Once I have defeated the technology my photos will appear here !! Time to catch up with all of your build threads, some amazing and varied builds in flight already ...... Cheers for now, Zhizhou
