OK - So I thought I'd go for another quick 'gap fill' build whilst waiting for the NATO GB to commence. Not sure one of these has been a WIP before but figured it would be fun to post anyhow. I like that this one comes with a stand (whatever happened to aircraft kits having stands?) Just the one picture for Box, Sprue and Decals (two pence piece in there for scale)!!

First of all I would like to say hi to all the fellow group builder here. This is my first ever group build, and I can't believe that I chose such an eye wateringly small scale to try first. So I have had some of these in my stash for a while now, and they have been sitting patiently in the cupboard of despair (danker than the shelf of doom) waiting for this build to start so that they can see the light of day. I have no idea which to build, so I am going to have a go at all three. TBH I have not even looked for accessories or aftermarket for these, so they will be OOB with some pretty fine airbrushing needed. opened each box to see what is inside OMG! what have I done! I thought these might be new moulds but I guess not. They are in no way on a par with the last Revell 144 that I did on here . Still I have to do this. Each little kit comes with a small stand, and there is a corresponding hole in the bottom to stick it in. I have decided, therefore to do each one "flying" (that way I don't need to worry about the prop). This will increase the work needed slightly as there is only an option for wheels down. Made a start on the first one, the Bf109E. first issue is raised panel lines which look stupid in this scale, so I will sand them smooth. I don't think you would see panel lines in this small scale anyway (that is going to be my excuse anyway). I want to keep this as simple as possible. Thanks for looking.

First of the New Year and first of this series. The series is advertised as 'Pocket-Money' priced, which indeed the kits are @ £1.99, but may not be the best possible introduction to the hobby if they are intended to be that. Built this one OOB but it needed quite a bit of work to fit the lower wing part to the fuselage and the port upper wing part was damaged and needed filling at the wing root. A little more decal solution needed on the codes on the fuselage sides. Enjoyable and a worthwhile build at the price.
