Hi all, first of my trio is the Airfix 109 e-3 in the marking,s of JG/51 based in France in the Autumn of 1940 one of the aircraft flown by Josef "Pips" Priller who ended the war with over 100 victories ending his combat flying career as "inspector of fighter pilot,s west" near the war,s end as one of the Luftwaffe,s most highly decorated pilot,s.Josef Priller died in 1961.This build is dedicated to those young Luftwaffe pilot,s whatever their politics or motives that fought in the Battle of Britain.

Hi folks,here,s a new direction for me with my first Luftwaffe build.I can,t wait for the BoB GB later this year and want to put a couple of Luftwaffe types in so got a couple of cheapies to practice colours and styles of camoflage.This is the starter set box and I have to say what a joy to put together,only pitfalls are the smaller parts which are really difficult to remove from the sprue and the glazing which needs some cutting as it is molded to be posed open.Many thanks for looking.
