Hi All, Here I present my recently completed SAAB S17BS Float Plane that was built in the Nordic GB. The subject was built using the Marivox kit that went together rather well considering that it's a limited run kit but the front and rear cockpits were devoid of detail and because of the 'greenhouse' parked on top, much detail was added and corrected. Th floats were reworked, as was the pilots access point. Painted with AK paints. Kit decals were used but were a 'pita'. Once complete, the SAAB was placed in a suitable setting...on water. Full build here: Thanks for looking. Stuart

This will hopefully be my build in this GB, a SAAB S17BS Floatplane built OOB with some little details. First the 'stuff' as like me, many may have not heard of Marivox. Boxart- front. Colour options, one option for me...a floater. Sprue 1 Sprue 2 Sprue 3 Clear sprue Decal sheet The sketch Looks like it'll be fun but have first got to get the Mustang GB out of the way. Until next time Stuart

It's not a Viggen or Draken... but It's a SAAB! Saab 105 - or Sk60 as it's called in the Swedish air force. Cool little thing, I came by this kit by accident. I had just built a Viggen (old Hasegawa) that I took to my hobby club meeting and one of the participants gave me this, apparently it was obvious I needed more Saabs Been sitting on my stash for a year and I had a look recently and I liked what I saw. No idea how the parts fit, but if they do, should be fun. Back of the box with the colouring instructions. Might need to look some reference photos online. I was thinking of doing Sk60B with normal camo - but kinda tempted to go with the recce version too. What's in the box. Manual, decal sheet, two sprues and one clear sprue. Simple stuff. It's all just a bit thick and chunky - including the sprue frames. And bit devoid of details. But I'm sure there'll be a good kit here, just needs some care putting it together. Lot's of weapons! Which is nice, might use those aden gun pods for a Viggen. And no, those are not wonky looking sidewinders, but apparently somekind of heavy rockets. Notice three different noses . One is for the basic version, one for the recce one - and not sure about the one. Clear parts. Manual is quite chaotic at first glance - but I'm sure there is a method to this madness! Decal sheet. It looks bit dodgy, it's not really showing in the photo. But we will see, looks can be deceiving with decals. Neat little kit. Will be OOB pretty much, plan to do this as clean and simple build.
