Some pics of an Il28 I completed recently. Possibly the worst fit of parts I've ever encountered and persevered to completion! Even the panel lines on the 2 fuselage halves didn't line up needing a full rescribe. I added an Pavel interior up front. Still got there in the end with the help of you-all!

This is Italeri's venerable old kit. I scribed the panel lines, added some masking tape seat belts, paper sun shades, and replaced the exhausts with short lengths of aluminium tube. Paints used were Humbrol enamels. The kit went together with no problems, really great fitting kit. Decals are from the kit. image upload no compression adult image host images upload photo uploading image url upload adult picture hosting photo share picture share upload png upload images free free image hosting Thanks for looking

Apart from adding a pilot, this is a straight out of the box build. Italeri's kit is a little gem, falling together with no problem. The decaling instructions on the other hand were a bit of a problem. Not too clear at all. I used Humbrol Metalcote flatt and polished aluminium and I used graphite powder to try and get a more metallic finish. For my first attempt at the heat staining on the Hun, I used various Tamiya clear colours and some other Humbrol paints. picture uploading uploading images image upload with preview screenshot upload how to use print screen screenshot windows 8 Thanks for looking
