WW2 military subjects are not normally my barra however, I have always held a soft spot for the SB-2 and have fond memories of the Frog kit. I have had the ICM kit for some while and I have no got to the point where I plan to build it and I'm at an early stage of research. One question I have does anyone know the interior colour? The ICM colour out says 'Ghost Grey', is this correct ? I don't know which version I'm taking forward, part of me fancies a Russian machine with skis but on the other hand the colourful Spanish civil war aircraft appeal too. I have the excellent Print Sca
In generally the ICM kit makes positive impression from it's building, and what's especialy surprised for me, decal is excelent. The model was completely assembled out of the box. Handles on the cabin and rear bampers it's the only parts were made by hand. Thanks for looking, any comments are welcome.
Hi Folks, here is my 1/72 ICM Bf109 E4 completed at the weekend as an E4B of Erg. Gr. JG54 but still wearing the markings of it's former unit, JG1. The model was made AAOOB (almost all out of the box!) but with seatbelts made from masking tape and a Quickboost resin tailwheel to replace the undersized ICM one. Decals came from the excellent Kagero Monograph series Bf109 E Volume 1. I really enjoyed painting this one, unusually for me, everything went on well at the first attempt using Mr Hobby Acrylics and Mr Color thinners with no respray required. Than
