Ok this will be the design and test build Wip for a 35th scale Cargo Pod for the ICM CH54 Tarhe Helicopter, I have put in the Armour section as this is an independent model. I have shown these Cad renders next to my 35th scale 88" Landrover Light weight next to the pod for scale as it is big I had to check the size twice (68 tall X 106 wide X 327 long) to make sure it was right and then I remember the image below I remember during the research. That's Impressive. I will start to add detail and then when that is done I can look at where to split the model up for printing. Pete

How do chaps. First posting in this particular sub forum! I generally don't have a lot of success painting figures and I generally only do them as dressing for my armour builds. Recently though I seem to be getting the hang of them so I thought I would do a 'stand alone' The figure is from the ICM Anzacs set that I've had for a little while. The base is one that I've had for a long time but was never to sure what to do with it. It's a piece of gnarly wood that I sprayed black and then dry brushed to make it look like a rocky outcrop somewhere Gallipoli way. He looks to me that he's just fixed his bayonet and is looking off into the distance and thinking of home. He was painted with games Workshop paints and washes. One thing I did forget to add was the rifle strap! Apologies for the dodgy pics! Whilst he's no where near as good as many of the figures posted here, I'm rather pleased with how he turned out and will be having another go with other figures that I have. Zil-131 command vehicle (KShM) Hi there, having finished my first ever car build (ICM 1:35 Moskvitch) I thought I'd continue straight on to my second one - a Zil truck from the ICM Chernobyl #1 box. Very nice box art - and is really precise in what actually comes with the box: Zil truck, figures, guard hut & scenic background. But this is what we are building from the box for now. It all seems quite complicated - a total of 125 build stages is not something I've used to. But ICM instructions seem very clear and precise, so I think I will be OK. Nice pile of plastic, these are the parts that make out a Zil truck. Detail is very nice and sharp - even if the plastic feels bit soft. Easy to work with, just need to be careful when tidying up as the knife really sinks into the plastic. The kit is apparently made out of two different sets of plastic - one on top is 'generic' Zil sprue, one on the below is a different shade of grey and is specific to the command vehicle. During the construction phase I made a bit of a mess out of the Moskvitch, so I try to be more careful this time and follow the instuctions so that it all comes together as it should. Ive cut down the parts needed to put together the frame. Parts have been cleaned and assembly can begin. There were some ejector pin marks that I did not clean, though. They are on the inside of the framework under the truck so I figured it's not worth the hassle. Fit is excellent, everything has it's place. As the plastic is quite soft, it's quite easy to get things out of shape. I made sure with some weight that the alignment of the frame is not wonky in the end. And here we are - slap on some tyres & cabin and we have a finished truck! So far this truck seems awesome. And as this is all new to me (I'm more at hope with things that have wings), if you have any good tips regards truck building (I'm looking at you @JeroenS ), please feel free to share your wisdom. I rather avoid the pitfalls than walk right into them

Not a well photographed soft skin, and one than I haven’t seen modelled a great deal, at least in non Maultier guise but a workhorse of the Wehrmacht, nevertheless. This is the ICM 1/35 S300 version which is a simple little kit and one I built straight out of the box to get some paint and weathering practise on. It built up well apart from an odd conundrum whereby a gap materialised between the bulkhead and engine panels and bonnet on just the offside. I can only put it down to a build error on my part, it’s just one I strangely never noticed until the paint went on! First stages of weathering on the filth

The Sd.Kfz.247 Aust.B was a specialised command armoured vehicle used by the Wehrmacht. Armoured modifications were added to the chassis of the Horch 108. Only 58 were produced between 1941-1942. Daimler-Benz was the only manufacturer. The kit. Having only got back into the hobby last year after a long break, I had never heard of ICM 8 months ago. Quite pleasantly surprised, as the model is not over engineered, parts fit well and it was a reasonable price. Only thing I didn’t like was the rubber tires. Nightmare to clean up and won’t stick with anything. I understand if you are making an F1 car they would be good, but………...... As always with every model I make, I always have one disaster. On this one there were two, dropped it after the matt coat (bits everywhere) and buggered up the light lenses. Bit annoying as the box art shows them with covers on. Built out of the box apart from a few bits of stowage and the antennas. Didn’t want to over weather it as us “scaleys” used to look after our wagons! 😉

Not quite a Blitzbuild, this is a kit I got for Christmas from Mrs Oz. I've been looking forward to getting it started, as it will make go nicely with the tram I'm currently building. The kit so far has been a really smooth build, the kit comes with a nicely detailed engine. Though I'd do a WIP as only seen one of these built so far.

ICM's Ford Model T AFS ambulance with a Resicast Ford driver. German 77mm is a Shapeways casting designed by a friend in Illinois. Ambulance is built OOB with only addition is the white field and cross added to the front. Kit was a pleasure to build, no flash, parts all fit perfectly. Used Tamiya and Vallejo paints. Tree stumps donated from my back yard. Don't tell Mrs. D. I borrowed her coffee grinder to make the ground cover.....

Here a new assembly : a french armoured car. It's a nice kit begun last week. See you soon...
