  1. Hi all, with my second build about to be wrapped up and a few weeks before the Baby Boomers GB starts I thought why not fit another kit in here whilst I'm on a hot streak. So I picked up the Revell rebox of Hasegawa's Hs 129 in 1/48. The main pull for me was the kit features decals for a Panzerknacker based in Libya and I'm yet to do a North African campaign luftwaffe build. Specifically this Henschel captured at Castel Benito airfield. Looking forward to it, thanks for looking in!
  2. Hello all, This is one of my dad's builds, finished about a month ago. The kit has gone through extensive modifications: -re-profiling of wing-tips -opening of engine cowling slots and modification of cowling -kit engines extensively modified -trim tabs replaced -wing trailing edges thinned -fabric effect reduced on all flying control surfaces -scratchbuild windshield, interior and mk 101 cannon -canopy replaced -blast tubes added -resin wheels and exhausts Decals are from Exito. Happy Modelling!
  3. Here's my 1/48 HS-129 by Esci (not the newest or best, but it was a 'wear and weathering' experiment) Hope you like ... Build and weathering found here ... https://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235055393-kursk-warrior-hs-129-panzerknacker-latest-photos-june-03-finished/ Thanks for looking, Colin
  4. This is an old 1/48 Esci HS-129 I'm trying some heavy wear technique's on. I scratch built an interior and gun sight based on photo's. Rescribed and riveted the airframe, and started by painting portions with Tamiya's acrylic Titanium silver. Then airbrushed several coats of hairspray, followed by thinned coats of a mix to replicate the red oxide primer. Finally chipped and scratched with water, a stiff brush and a toothpick. When it's dry, I'll hairspray again, then light camo so the primer shows in places, then hairspray and scrub and scratch again. Should be an interesting experiment!
  5. Hi! Here my Hs-129B-3 tank buster of the last WWII winter. Built from Hasegawa limited edition kit with Verlinden cockpit, Eduard masks, custom masks for codes, Montex masks for insignia and some scratch build mainly in wheel wells. Tried to make the temporary winter camouflage to look well worn. Hope You like it!
  6. Hi mates! I'm starting the Hasegawa's Hs-129B build in 1/48. The only area to scratch-build some additions to the kit is wheel wells. But - I can't find any reference (photo, drawings, diagrams) on this area. Any good pictures of Aires resin wells are also welcomed. TIA for the help
  7. Here is my Henschel Hs 129B-2 in 1/72 scale. Made from Italeri kit with Eduard ZOOM PE set and self-made MK101 cannon. Nothing special, I`ve made it 3 years ago... and still don`t know why. 🙂 Aircraft serial 0310 belonged to commander of 4.(Pz)/SchG 2. It was captured by Allies on Castel Benito airfield (Libya) in the end of 1942.
