Howdy, y'all! I know it's been some time since my last post here (at least a year I think) but with college wrapping up and figuring out what's next for me, I hadn't had time to sit down and actually get far with any build. I think that at least the last couple of builds I've attempted have ended on the Shelf of Doom, mainly with issues with the kits but also on my part. Therefore, I wanted something relatively simple but very interesting that wouldn't take too long and wouldn't lose my interest along the way. I bought this kit a couple of years ago wanting to do a Vichy machine using the SBS decal sheet, however, it seems that the sheet is quite difficult to obtain at a good price or in a timely manner. Thankfully, since this is one of the latest boxings of the kit, the Armee de l'Air decals are in really good condition, but still not sure if I'll build that scheme. From what I've heard and read, this kit is really good for its age, and apart from the weirdly split canopy, it's a relatively hassle-free build. Therefore, I plan to scratch-build a fair amount within the cockpit, even though it is fairly good OOB. So if any of y'all have any diagrams or references about this tiny passenger craft I would really appreciate them since I know that there's a couple of books about the Simoun, but they're now either far too expensive for my blood or simply out of print. Looking forward to sharing this build process with y'all! - Javier

For my first ever group build entry I am going to attempt the Heller Heinkel He 112 B0/B1 (kit reference 240). According to Scalemates this was the original 1979 boxing. Note the swastika blacked over by hand. Earlier this year I bought a set of Spanish Civil War decals (Xtradecal set X72274). The primary reason at the time was for an Ju87A that I acquired but had Japanese markings in the box. Once this group build was on the horizon I looked at my small Heller stash and the He112 built as the V9 (B series prototype) and flown in 1938 by Hauptmann Harro Harder in Spain seemed like a good option. The parts are almost completely flash free and have no obvious sink marks that I have found yet. Overall the level of detail is impressive for the time. Options exist for different noses. I shall be using the one on the right. More great detail. Note the interior cockpit sculpting. A fly in the ointment. The aircraft I am modelling had no antenna but I don't know any way of filling the hole in the canopy. I like the instructions and the paint suggestions. They speak of a different time. My next post will be a short history of this particular aircraft.

Heller's old Caudron CR.714 was improved a bit by looking at the RS Models kit and copying its detail. Decals also came from the RS Kit. It took some time to get this kit finally finished. It still lacks a crosshair gunsight, but I'll get a PE one for that soon. Cheers, Luka

Hello Everyone... As my Bulldog is reaching a stage I'm comfortable with, I will be starting a 2nd build. Its not a rare subject by any stretch of the imagination. I will be building Heller’s Hawk 75. Im going to do it in the markings of LeLV 32, 1943 as per these instructions. It should finish up looking like this profile. My alternative scheme would be this Hawk in the late/post war roundels. I will post Sprue shots when i have dug out the box from my stash and washed it. I purchased it at last years swap meet and the box and sprues have mold on them. Questions, comments, or thoughts ? Dennis
