If you see a Soviet (then Russian) 2S3 Akatsiya SPH in three-colour camouflage somewhere, in 90% of cases it is a Greyish Yellow/Olive Green/Smoky Black scheme. This is how it is in the Trumpeter kit, this is how it is in the photos from the fights in Ossetia. However, on the lid of the Ammo-Mig #7109 paint set box there is Akatsiya with Greyish Yellow replaced by one of the shades of grey (the Russians basically have two - a very pale and a medium one, similar to US Neutral Gray, but with a hint of blue). I have a ZSU 23-4 from Afghanistan in similar camouflage and it looks very tasty. Can anyone confirm (or deny) that this Ammo-Mig profile is a vehicle that fought in Afghanistan/Ossetia/Chechnya? Or has anyone seen a similar Akatsiya in grey camouflage from any of the wars mentioned? Cheers Michael

Can anyone tell me which of these colours (or a different one?) would be best to achieve the camouflage colours on the Meteor night fighter in the photo? I'm assuming RAF dark green is ok (albeit satin, not gloss, but allowing for scale perhaps that's ok?) Not sure which grey is best. The ghost looks closer but the decal instructions say medium sea grey, yet it looks a bit dark to me.
